Held at the classy Mojitos Cuban Lounge on Porte Zante, with the intoxicating sounds of live entertainment by Havanna Express, the atmosphere was perfect for a night of fun and frolic.
By the end of the night, whether you were born with spanish heritage.. or not, you would have certainly followed this year’s theme, ‘Discover your Latin Side’, and find your spanish dance moves with the band playing hits like “Bailando”, and my favorite of the night “Macarena”!
The Latin Festival, which is in its 6th year, has becoming one of the most highly anticipated festivals in St.Kitts-Nevis, with a local and international patronage that seems to be getting bigger and bigger each year.
This year, the festival with run through the 19th to the 25th of October and will feature the likes of José Gabriel Severino and El Rey Tullie, both from the Dominican Republic.
Now don’t think that this festival is all about music and dance. Oh no! Latin Festival is a celebration of All Things LATIN! So in an effort to indulge all of your senses, the festival will include elements such as Film, Art, Cuisine, and of course Fiesta!
So save the dates!
You have enough time to practice your Spanish vocab as well as dance moves!
