If y’all thought the beef between Taylor and Kayne stopped in 2009? HA. Think again!
I know we all remembered the chaos caused with Taylor Swift by Kanye’s release of “Famous” earlier this year in February, particularly the lyrics:
“I think that me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b*tch famous”.
A spokesperson for the singer stated that, “She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that b*tch famous.'”
However, Kimye had something different to say. In fact, according to their version, she knew about the lyrics and was completely fine with it. Months after, Kim K decided to “clear the air”. Sunday night, Kim K uploaded a number of videos to Snapchat showcasing the phone call that her hubby and Taylor had concerning “Famous”.
A conversation about Taylor’s feature in his verse was clearly held however, there was no mention of her being called out her name, which is what she claims to have a problem with. Now, Taylor is taking legal action against the dynamic duo. It turns out that under California Law, it’s a criminal offense to secretly record a telephone conversation- in fact, it’s a felony! TMZ has a hand copy of a letter sent to Kanye’s attorney from Taylor’s lawyer demanding that they “…immediately destroy all such recordings, provide us of assurance that this has been done, and also assurance that these recordings have not been previously disseminated.”
Things are getting pretty serious! Will Kimye take down the video? Will they duel it out in court? Find out on the next episode of Dragon Ball-Z… excuse us, we mean Carib.buzz 😉
