This year’s edition of the Project P.O.E.T.R.Y National High School Spoken Word Poetry Competition is looking like its going to be the most thrilling and entertaining show yet!
This year there will be 7 High Schools competing for the Grand Prize of $1,500 and boasting rights for an entire year.
The show will take place on Saturday 28th November, at the sir Cecil Jacobs Auditorium at the ECCB, Bird Rock, St. Kitts, starting at 6PM.
Participating in this year’s competition are talents from high schools in both St. Kitts and Nevis. Representing Gingerland Secondary is Rol-J Williams, Charlestown Secondary represented by Seamus O’Flaherty and Nevis International Secondary’s representative is Devaughn Roland.
From St. Kitts, four high schools will be represented in the competition. Basseterre High School will be represented by Alana Webbe, Cayon High by Darenice Dedier, Washington Archibald High by Telston Murraine and Inshan Liburd will be representing the Verchilds High School.
